Kenneth Steven Hardy
February 21, 1963 - August 10, 2024
Kenneth Steven Hardy (Steve) passed away August 10th, 2024, succumbing to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. He was 61 years old, born February 21st, 1963 in Manhattan, KS.
Preceded in death by parents Dr Clint S Hardy, Jr, DVM and (Cornelia) Neily Hardy. Survived by daughters Shelbie (Jordan) Factor of Collinsville, OK and Neily (Michael) Manning of Fort Myers, FL. Siblings Connie (Mike) Baker of Wichita, KS and Pat Hardy of Collinsville, OK. He also has aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and a nephew that will miss him.
Steve graduated from Collinsville High School in 1981. He attended NEO in Miami, OK. He made many friends along the way.
Steve lived in Collinsville most of his life. He loved to work with his hands, either building something for family or in his work. He built his girls the tree house of their dreams with a slide and sand box to match. He also enjoyed hunting upland bird and deer and loved to bait a hook and cast a line.
Dad would give the shirt off of his back to help someone in times of need or not. He always had his way of letting you know he was thinking about you. These are just some of the things we will remember him by but there are so many more than we can list here. He will be missed in so many ways and all the days to come but he is out of pain and in a better place!
Services are pending. Rather than flowers and you wish to honor Steve, please send donations to “The Journey Home” 900 Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006 So that they can continue to bless other families in times of transition as they did ours. This would mean the world to us and to him
