Tahkaney Michelle Haynes was born on November 8, 1972, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Katheryn Bennett and the late Robert Knox Sr. She departed this life surrounded by the love and memories of those who cherished her.
Tahkaney was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, cherished sister, aunt, and friend. She lived a life marked by love, strength, compassion, and dedication to her family. Her warm smile, caring heart, and unwavering support touched the lives of many and created lasting memories that will be treasured forever.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Chris Haynes Sr.; her loving children, Deon Knox and spouse Kyra Knox, DeRico Knox and spouse Michelle Knox, and Chris Haynes Jr.
Tahkaney was also the proud grandmother of Anastie, Arlayha, Ah’Nevaeh, DeRico Jr. (“Prince”), Arlieonni, Brilynn, Olivia, and Landon, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.
She is further survived by her loving mother and step Father: Katheryn and Ralph Bennett ; her brothers Michael Knox and wife-Kristi Knox, Paul Sterling-Knox, and sisters: Kimberly Knox, Kathleen Knox-Edwards and spouse Shelton Edwards, Latisha Knox-Irby and spouse Ray Charles Irby along with vast host of nieces, nephews and extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Tahkaney was preceded in death by her father, Robert Knox Sr, Sister-Angela Knox-Butler, and Brothers: Robert Knox Jr., and Donald Knox.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love, laughter, and honesty will continue through the many lives she touched. Her memory will remain a guiding light to all who knew and loved her.
