Ralph Edward Gasaway

July 28, 1948 - October 2, 2025

Ralph Gasaway lived a life defined by faith, love, and service to God, his family, and country.  Born on July 28, 1948 in Okmulgee, OK to Ralph Dan and Joyce Gasaway, he grew up with strong values that would guide him throughout his journey.

As a young man, he married the love of his life Mary (Bailey) Gasaway on December 2, 1967.  He answered the call of duty and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.    His love for his wife carried him through the hardships, and he returned home with a deep sense of gratitude for the gift of life and freedom.  His service was not only an act of patriotism, but also a reflection of his belief in serving a purpose greater than himself.

Upon returning home, Ralph and Mary built a life anchored in faith and family.  They created a home rooted in love, faith, and respect.  In 1981, Ralph and Mary welcomed their first child Ralph Thomas.  In 1983, they welcomed their last child Mary Evelyn.  As a father, he led by example, teaching his children the values of integrity, hard work, kindness, devotion to God, and service.  Ralph and Mary were blessed with 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  As a grandfather, he was a source of joy and guidance, sharing stories, lessons, and unconditional love.

A faithful man, Ralph found strength, peace, and purpose in his relationship with God.  His faith was evident not only by his worship, but in how he lived each day.

Ralph was a loyal friend, caring uncle, and brother.  Someone who could be counted on in times of need.  He gave himself freely, offering support, encouragement, and wisdom.

Those who knew Ralph will remember his devotion to his family, his faith, and his steady strength.

Though we grieve his passing, we take comfort in knowing that he has entered into eternal peace.  He was reunited with those that went before him father Ralph Dan, mother Joyce, siblings Jimmy Gasaway, John Stewart, Peggy Siedlik, Daniel Bailey, and Jimmy Southwick.  He leaves behind his beloved wife Mary, his children Ralph and Monica Gasaway and Steven and Mary Bowen, his cherished grandchildren Blake, Dillon, Ralph Justin, Steven Jr, and Nathan, great grandchild Sophiaa, siblings Donna, Alice and Cliff, Brenda and Kevin, Stella, Ronnie, Liz, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends that loved him deeply.  His love will live on in their hearts forever.   His life was a gift to all that knew him, and his spirit will live on through the love he gave and the faith he shared.
