Kenneth Lee Watkins, 67, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 21, 2026.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Bobby Lee and Annie Joe Watkins, Kenny lived a life defined by curiosity, resilience, and a love for learning. His father, Bobby, was known for singing about just anything, while his mother, Annie, found joy in tending her beautiful flower beds. Growing up, Kenny earned the nickname “George” and rarely went anywhere without a beloved dog or other pet by his side.
A man of many talents and interests, Kenny taught himself to play numerous musical instruments and spent countless hours enjoying his record collection. After earning his GED, he became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), graduated from the police academy, and went on to work in a variety of professions throughout his life. No matter where life took him, he approached each chapter with determination and an eagerness to learn something new.
Of all the roles Kenny held, none meant more to him than being a father and grandfather. His family was the center of his life, and the love he had for them was evident in everything he did.
He is survived by his daughter, Erika Watkins, and his cherished granddaughters, Kelainey and Lucille, of Wasilla, Alaska; his stepchildren, Shane and Gage Falis of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his siblings, Patti, Phillip, and Regina; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Lee and Annie Joe Watkins, and his son, Brock Watkins.
Kenny will be remembered for his quick wit, unwavering loyalty, endless patience, generous spirit, and the way he could brighten any room with his humor. His kindness and unconditional love left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. While he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the stories shared, the music played, and the lives he touched.
