Eugene Charles Kuhlmann

Eugene Charles Kuhlmann, of Tulsa OK, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026. Gene was born on October 27, 1948 in Waterloo, Iowa and is the son of Harvey and Heraldine Kuhlmann.  He graduated from Sumner Highschool in 1966 and was united with Betty Jean Wilson on April 18, 1970.  They were stationed in Minot, ND with the Air Force shortly after marriage.  After 4 years  Gene was honorably discharged and moved with his family to Tulsa, OK, where they raised their 3 wonderful children.  Working for over 30 years with the US Post Office, he retired in 2007.  In retirement life, he enjoyed creating yard art, working on magician skills and liked to bullshit with everyone he came in contact with. He is survived by son, Chad Kuhlmann of Ames, IA, Amy Young of Broken Arrow, OK and son Tom Kuhlmann of Fox Island, WA, grandsons Dakota and Lance Young and Brett and Eric Kuhlmann.  He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, and his brother, Bruce.
