Saul Stilwell, a beloved father, husband, son, and brother, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, at the age of 46. His journey began on January 21, 1980, being born in DeLeon, Texas, and he continued his life journey after moving to Sand Springs, Oklahoma, as a child. Saul brought warmth and laughter to the lives of those around him.

Saul was the son of Jon Stilwell and his grandparents, June Stilwell, and the late Dan Stilwell (mom & pop), whom he also considered his parents. They provided loving guidance to him throughout his life. Preceding him in death was his dear sister, Carol Stilwell Rohde, whose memory he held close to his heart. Saul is survived by his wife, Christie Phipps Stilwell, married July 4, 2019.

He was the proud father of five wonderful children: Kainen, Aiden, Collin, Ashton, and Emma Stilwell. He is also survived by his siblings Andrea Stilwell, Daniel Stilwell (Amanda), and Michelle Stilwell (Jack), his uncle David Stilwell(Dena) and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Saul's journey began in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Charles Page High School in 1998. He went on to pursue a career as a welder in the oilfield and steel fabrication industries. His craftsmanship and dedication were evident in every project he undertook, until a disabling injury and illness made it impossible for him to continue that work. Saul enjoyed prospecting, or gold mining, and he had a genuine love for animals. His beloved dog Benny was a huge comfort to him during his final months.

Known for his quick wit, dry humor, and engaging smile, Saul had a remarkable ability to light up any room. Those who knew him will fondly remember his trademark dimples and his willingness to lend a helping hand whenever he could.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Rena Lunceford for her loving care during Saul's final months of illness.

A family gathering will be held to honor Saul's life, details of which will be shared with family and friends in the coming days.
