Michael Anthony Alfieri

Michael Anthony Alfieri 62 of Tulsa, OK died August 3, 2024 in St. John Ascension Hospital, Tulsa.
He was born in Braddock, PA on January 15, 1962 to the late Victor and Floy Alfieri of East McKeesport, PA. Michael came from a very close knit family. He had many wonderful memories which included hunting and fishing trips, trips to his uncles farm where he and his brothers, sisters and cousins would all sleep in the barn atop the hay! Also, many trips to the mountains in Punxsutawney PA where Michael, his brothers and his Dad built a home there.
Michael attended East Allegheny High School which he graduated from in 1979. After a short stint in the Florida Keys Lobster Trapping, he returned back home and enrolled in The Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronomics (PIA). After graduating he received his first job offer in Ohio working for Boeing. A short time later on May 11, 1987 he was hired by American Airlines as a junior mechanic working structures on the 727 aircraft. 6 months later he progressed to full mechanic. After working various jobs at the maintenance base he then became an aircraft maintenance inspector in May 2003, where he remained through the rest of his career.
Michael was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He had such an adventurous spirit in his younger days. He went on motorcycle trips on his Harley's sometimes bringing home several trophies. Michael went Elk hunting in Colorado, played softball and paintball with teams at work that he had a lot to do with planning. He owned a pizza shop called Italy's Oven first in Collinsville then in Owasso, which always received high reviews!
Michael loved his job and loved his co-workers. He was getting tired though.
Along with his parents. Michael was preceded in death by his brother Jimmie Joseph (Nancy).
Michael is survived by his common law wife, Jenifer Taylor Alfieri, 2 daughters whom he loved very much, Ashleigh Marie (Las Vegas. Nevada) and Madison Lee (Carnegie) of Anchorage, Alaska. Also 3 step children and 9 step-grandchildren all of Pennsylvania. Those little ones were always asking if (Pappy Michael) was coming and they and he were in their glory when he did come.
Michael is also survived by 2 sisters, Susan Dulak (Michael) of Thomasville GA and Deb McCrorey (Jim) Of N. Huntingdon PA. And brother Victor (Kathy) of Cannonsburg. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews aunts and Uncles and cousins. Last but not least, his 3 fur babies Rambo, Miss Muffet and Gracie Mae. His memory will live on in all who loved and knew him..
