Marilyn Kay (Coonfield) Diamond, age 78, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
She was born on February 13, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Wiley Haskell and Mary Ellen Coonfield, and graduated from Daniel Webster High School in 1966.
In 1967, Marilyn married Larry Deason. Together they welcomed two children, Ryan Wiley Deason and Marla Kay Deason. She later married William Diamond in 1981, and they welcomed their daughter, Carly Jo Diamond.
Marilyn lived life with energy and heart. She loved softball and volleyball and could often be found with a needle and thread, sewing for the people she loved. Known for her witty and talkative personality, Marilyn never met a stranger. Her greatest joy, however, was her children, and she often spoke proudly of them.
She was a loving grandmother to Tyler O’Neil and Caitlin Deason and a great-grandmother to Jax and Jovi O’Neil. Marilyn was also a proud mother-in-law to Jaime Deason and Jeremy McIntosh.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Ryan and wife Jaime, Marla and husband Jeremy, and Carly; her grandchildren, Tyler and wife Ashton and Caitlin: and her great-grandchildren, Jax and Jovi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Mary Coonfield, and her sisters, Francis Taylor and Sharon Stufflebeam.
