Margaret Hildebrand
Oct. 22, 1958 - Nov. 10, 2024
Margaret Hildebrand, a kind and compassionate soul with a heart full of love for animals and the people around her, passed away November 10, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with her loving husband by her side.
An animal lover to her core, she often prioritized the well-being of animals and friends over her own needs. She had an extraordinary ability to give selflessly and care deeply, leaving a legacy that will live on in everyone who knew her.
Margaret’s deepest love in life was her partner, best friend, and husband, Phillip, whom she met while working at Oklahoma Leather Products. The couple celebrated a beautiful marriage, full of love and shared memories, since May 18, 1990.
Margaret's life was filled with simple joys. She loved listening to classic rock music and the vibrant tunes of Bruno Mars, which filled her days with rhythm and happiness. A dedicated sports fan, Margaret cheered on her St. Louis Cardinals, OU Sooners, and Kansas City Chiefs with enthusiasm. When she wasn't rooting for her teams, she enjoyed playing the slots at local casinos, even when the one-armed bandits got the better of her!
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Frances (White) Shaw, and her brother, Dr. Robert Shaw.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Phillip Hildebrand; her sister, Mary Shaw, and her beloved pets: her dog, Siri, and her cat, Toby, who brought her endless joy.
Margaret wished to be cremated and have no formal services, but will rest at the Wyandotte Cemetery, in Wyandotte, Oklahoma.
