Diana Kay Johnson, who was known for her kindness, caring, sharing, loving personality lost her battle with cancer on January 22, 2025, in Tulsa.
Diana was born October 9, 1950 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Charley and Virginia Slape. She had four brothers and one sister. She grew up in Bartlesville and the surrounding area, and was known for her fiery personality. As she grew older she became a caregiver. She always put other before herself. Everyone had to be taken care of before her. She loved to play bingo, go thrifting (to find a good deal), and spending time with people.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Virginia; brothers, Ernie and Ronnie; sister, Connie; and three nieces, Sherry, Pam, and Jessica.
Survivors include her two children: son, Allan Bennett, and daughter, Kimberley and her husband Daniel Ellis, both of Tulsa; three grandsons, Trevor and Tyler Ellis, and Alex Bennett; one granddaughter, Rachel Bennett; one great-grandson, Milo Ellis; and let’s not forget her furbabies, Jake and Pumpkin; as well as several nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.

Diana was my best friend, we had some terrific times together, I can just imagine Diana in Heaven along with all her family, and Lynn my stepdad, I'm sure GOD has his hands full. My heart aches because you are gone my friend, I keep telling myself being in Heaven you have no pain, Don't get into to much mischief ,I will see you again my friend, Meet me at Heavens Gate when it's my turn, until then RIP DIANA, and take care of that piece of my heart you took with you. - Phyllis Miller
