David Lewis Coleman

David Lewis Coleman was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 11, 1959, and passed at age 65 on December 25, 2024 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
He always enjoyed working with his hands which led him to a career for the city of Bartlesville water distribution as an underground utility supervisor for 30 years before retiring. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, singing, dancing, and trips to the beach.
He was a free spirited dreamer who never met a stranger.
He is preceded in death by his brother Harry Rozar (Joni) of Florida. He is survived by his two daughters Katlyn Coleman of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Kandice Perry of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. His loving brothers and sisters Mary Daniel of South Carolina, Ann Curtis of South Carolina, Steven Kaufman (Cindy) of Georgia, Rick Dekle (Roberta) of Florida, Sherri Kight (Hank) of Florida, Debbie Jerabek of Florida, Janet Padgett (Melissa) of Florida, Brenda Hutcherson of Oklahoma, Cindy Butler (Tony) of South Carolina, and Joby Polifka (Kim) of Alabama as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor David is being planned by his family and will be held a later date.
We first met David in Caney, KS at the American Legion Turkey Shoot.. He was always keeping us laughing and always buying rounds of shots for everyone.. He will truly be missed. - Shelley Brinkman
